Warren was a Pearl Harbor Survivor, serving in the 15th Coastal Artillery of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a life member of both the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Inc. and the Pennsylvania Survivors of the Pearl Harbor Attack. Pete was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215; Walnutport V.F.W.; Fullerton Fire Co. #1; East Allentown Fire Co.; United Steel Workers of America Local #2599; Lehigh County Senior Center; and the Jolietts Pinochle Club of Bethlehem. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 44 years before retiring.
Survivors: With his wife are his children Jeffrey Peters and his wife, Sandi, of Houston, TX; Danette Peters of Shavertown, PA; Timothy Peters and his wife, Diane, of Bethlehem; Gregory Peters and his wife, Debra, of Bethlehem; and Georgette Peters of Gainesville, FL.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services: Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Reception following the center at the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 2nd St. Catasauqua, 18032.
