William (Bill) Wayne Morris, 76, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28th, 2022, with his family by his side.

He was born on January 3, 1946, in Humboldt Tennessee. He was one of four children born to William Russell, and Hazel Irene Morris. After High School he married his wife of 59 years, Janie, and joined the Air Force, spending the next 20 years in the service of his country. After retiring from Active Duty in the Air Force, where he did tours from Vietnam to England, he joined the Civil Service as an Aircraft Mechanic at Eglin AFB. After retiring from the Civil Service in 2002, he spent his time in various pursuits from Fishing, Reading, Dancing, and spending time with his favorite dogs, B.J. and Tiki.

Bill is survived by his wife, Janie Sue Morris, His son David (Elisa) Morris, His Sister Barbara (Glenn) Gurley, and his Grandson Chancellor (Nikki) Morris.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7 pm. The Burial Service will be held at Beal Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association, The American Stroke Association, or the Fisher House Foundation.
