Roble Adkins, son of Rev. Everett Adkins and Evangeline Ramey Adkins. Wife, Lillie a Virginia Clay Adkins. He was a decorated Veteran of WWll and received the following Medals, Combat Infantry Badge, WWll Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Bronze Star. He was wounded in the Battle of Attu Island, part of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. This was the only Land Battle fought against the Japanese During WWll.
