Diane was born on February 7, 1943 to Roman and Francis Marroquin in Floresville, Texas. She married Milton Montez in Plainview in 1957. She loved to play bingo and do her crossword puzzles. Her favorite shows were Wheel of fortune and Walker Texas Ranger. She also loved to cook and spend as much time with her family as she could. Diane loved Elvis Presley.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Milton Anthony Montez; one daughter, Veronica Pena; two sisters, Susie Sarabia and Louisa Alvarado and one granddaughter, Sharon Kay Tealer.
Diane is survived by her children, Beverly Munoz and husband Robert of Tahoka, Vincent Montez of Lubbock, Eugene Montez and wife Mechelle of Lubbock, Derek Montez of Livingston, Eric Montez and wife Melissa of Glasgow, KY and Jerry Flores of Lubbock; siblings Roman Marroquin, Jr. of Henderson, KY, Virginia Recio of Houston, Maria Flores of Midland and Porfiria Sarabia of Plainview; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild with one on the way
