David R. DeMaranville, 58, of Winchester, Kan., passed away unexpectedly from an accident on his farm Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born December 18,1963, in Winchester, Kan., the youngest of three children to Ralph E. and Goldie Bernice (Hipsher) DeMaranville.
He graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1982.
David was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend on their family farm in 2016. David was a dedicated farmer sun up to sun down.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, son, grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earnest R. DeMaranville; and niece, Melissa L. DeMaranville.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home in Leavenworth. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Leavenworth.
