James Clyde Alexander, 64, of Hayden, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, at his residence. He was the son of the late Clyde Logan and Sadie Bell Murphree Alexander and grew up in Marshall County. He had a love for horses and working outside. He was a truck driver, but was happiest on his John Deere tractor. He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife, Connie Burks Alexander; a son, David Jay-Logan (Tanya) Alexander; a stepson, Dewayne McAnnally; a stepdaughter, Miranda (Gene Baker) Rogers; six grandchildren, Hunter, Michael, Wesley, Crimson, Kaylin and Breanna; a brother, Jimmy (Alece) Alexander; three sisters, Clarice (James) Morgan, Margie Haynes and Kathy (Jeff) Johnson; and several aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.Pallbearers will be Lowell Sampson, Randie Walker, Johnny Cook, Terry Cook, Wayne Jennings and Jason Hogland.
