"Gary C. Taylor, loving husband, father and grandpa, age 81, of Landenberg, PA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Gary was born in Corning, NY, son of the late Charles and Florence Gauss Taylor. He graduated from Haverling Central School in Bath, NY and obtained a Bachelor degree from SUNY Binghamton and a Master's in Education from Elmira College. He enjoyed teaching English and literature at Jennie F. Snapp Middle School in Endicott, NY for 31 years.

Following retirement, he moved to Landenberg, PA where he continued to enjoy gardening, wood carving and spending time with his family.

Gary is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet M. Taylor; sons Chris and Greg (Heather); three grandsons, Andrew, Cameron and Jaxon; and his sister, Sharon (Richard) Ames.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private."
