Kathleen A. Taylor March 26, 1947 - May 29, 2022
Kathleen A. Taylor, 75 years old, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Center for Hospice in Mishawaka. Kathleen was born March 2, 1947 in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Adeline (Cholewczynski) Hes. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Taylor; and her brother, David Hes. Left to cherish the memory of Kathleen is her daughter, Sandra (James) Granda; grandson, Travis (Judith) Burks; granddaughters, Brittney Clark and Taylor (Ryan) Lawson; great-grandchildren, Thunder Burks, Laurel Burks, Hunter Clark, Zoey Clark, and Parker Ward; her sister-in-law, Faye Hes; her cousins, MaryAnn (Larry) Hawkins and Mickey (Sid) Jacobson; as well as numerous other cousins. Kathleen was a lifelong resident of South Bend. She worked at Bendix and Honeywell in the Brake and Steering Division. Kathleen and William spent every weekend for 15 years out at Hemlock Lake in Marcellus, MI. They met many unforgettable friends and loved spending time there. They also would travel for the yearly ice festival and go snow-mobiling at Houghton Lake. Kathleen also loved going out to eat, if food was served she would love to experience it. She also loved spending time with her family and her Shih Tzu, Nico. Above all, she loved being with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Friends may visit with the family from 11:30am-1:30pm Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will start at 1:30pm with entombment immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
