He was a Missouri native who honorably served in the Naval forces as a Quarter Master from 1958-1962. He was a natural businessman who founded a prosperous business, Lift Stak & Stor, of which he remained CEO until 2010. In that time, he received many recognitions, awards and holiday travels. He was impactful to so many and whether it was a quick joke, a shared memory or just his presence. Jim was a lifelong learner, dreamer and doer.
Jim is survived by his wife, Junell, daughters, Andrena Wingate and Rhonda (Brad) Johnson; Step-children, Mark (Gail) Sisk, Malea (Doug) Hayhurst, and Jeff (Jill) Sisk; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by brothers, Edwin and Roy Wingate; sisters, Sally Morgan and Marge Sylvester.
