GRANGEVILLE: Lee Marshal Woods, 59 of Grangeville passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home. Lee was born January 17, 1957 to Ivan and Virginia Dempsey Woods in Seattle, Washington.

Lee Woods was a horseman. He loved his wife. He loved his kids. He loved his daughter in law. He loved that special grand baby, and could not wait to meet the new baby on the way. He loved his dogs, and he loved his life.

Lee loved his life! Always quick to try something new, and just stubborn enough to stick with it until he got it right. Lee was never afraid to color a bit outside life's lines. That crooked smile, his ready laugh, and huge heart made him friends young and old everywhere he went.

Lee Woods was a horseman, and he was truly loved by his wife, his daughter, his son, all his family, and his many friends. He will be missed forever by all whose lives he touched.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life at the ranch, Sunday, September 18, at 2:00pm. 64 Woods Ln. Grangeville, ID. Please bring a lawn chair to sit in and a story to share. Arrangements are under the direction of Blackmer Funeral Home of Grangeville. Send condolences to the family to Blackmerfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of, we ask you mentor a young roper, or donate to District 3 High School Rodeo.
