Born in Newark, New Jersey on October 10, 1944, he was a son of the late Robert and Florence (Thomas) Jones. He was raised in Newark and graduated from Weequahic High School (Newark, NJ) and later enlisted in the United States Army National Guard.
Jack worked as a supervisor for 25 years for Radio Corporation of America. He then worked for the City of Easton until his retirement.
More than anything Jack enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making everyone laugh. He also enjoyed fishing, trips to the Jersey shore, collecting coins, searching for treasure, horse racing and going to the casino with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Robert G. Jones and Thomas Jones.
He was survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jean M. (Nemic) Jones; daughter Erica J. Jones; son, Jason J. Jones and wife Charise; daughter Jessica E. Jones; his beloved grandchildren, Samuel Jones, Grace Jones, and Anna Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA.
Interment private.
