Richard Duane Anderson, 66, of Peshtigo, WI, passed away May 27, 2022 at Rennes Health Center East of Peshtigo, WI, after an eight-year struggle with strokes, heart attacks and progressive supra nuclear palsy. He fought hard to overcome all the health issues he faced. He was born June 10, 1955 son of the late Roy and Winifred (Espenosa) Anderson.

He served in the United States Army from 1975 to1977 and was honorably discharged on St. Patrick's Day.

On June 5,1999 he married his true friend and love of his life Lois (Drees-Emmes). They enjoyed riding their Harley's and "fun times on the pontoon" on the Peshtigo River.
Richard was a great fisherman and caught many trophy fish. Richard was proud to be a member of the Boilermakers Local 107 for 34 years. He serviced nuclear & fossil fuel power plants

He is survived by his wife, Lois of 22 years;
his daughter Heather (Craig) Kruse;
Also survived by 3 children from a previous marriage: Kristen, Richie and Taylor.[ ~~their mother Cheri]
granddaughters: Olivia & Lila Kruse; Samantha (fiancé Seth Court) Emmes, Allison (Matt) Hipke; Amanda (Lizzy);
Step-sons: Travis (Brenda) Emmes, Tyler Emmes, and Tory (Jessica) Emmes;
a sister Avis (Kray) Gannigan;

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Selina.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1st at Peshtigo Methodist Church in Peshtigo from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
