Mrs. Darthy Lunell Lott Strickland, 77 passed away Thursday (May 26, 2022) at the Hospice House Satilla in Waycross following a short illness.
She was born in Kirkland, GA to the late Gardie Lott and Rosa Lee Mancil Lott ;;
also preceded in death by her husbands: James Wesley Lee and Edmond Earl "Eddie" Strickland;
a daughter, Lynn Guess; a son, Ronald Lee;
a grandson-in-law, Shane McDonald;
a brother, R.J. Lott; and a sister, Elmarie Powell.
She was a member of Suwannee Chapel Church of God of Prophecy but most recently attended Wahoma Church of God of Prophecy in Waycross.
She is survived by four children,
Curtis Lee of Waycross,
Melinda Fogle (Mike) of Waycross,
Michelle Cox (Barry) of Waycross, and
Kyle Lee of Waycross;
seven grandchildren,
Shawn Brown (Bea), Holly McDonald, Scott Fogle (Ashley), Brittany Weathersby (James), Devin Fogle, Breanna Dixon (Stephen), Steven Lee;
17 great grandchildren;
2 great great grandchildren;
a sister, Ann Rice of Waycross;
a brother, David Lott (Denise) of Waycross;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (May 28, 2022) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hargraves Chapel Cemetery in Millwood.
