Ted S. "Buddy" Grable, 73, of Weatherford died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in a Fort Worth hospital. Born June 8, 1934 in Weatherford where he was a life long resident. Buddy owned Buddy Grable Plumbing, was a member of North Side Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Ethel Grable. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia Grable of Weatherford; son, Kirk Grable and wife Cheryl of Willow Park; sister, Dana Sue Alcorn and husband Charles of Weatherford; brother, V.W. Grable and wife Glenda of Weatherford.


Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Friday, January 18, 2008 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Van N. Houser officiating.

Interment: Bethesda Cemetery.

Buddy was born June 8, 1934, in Weatherford, where he was a lifelong resident and a 1952 graduate of Weatherford High School. He owned Buddy Grable Plumbing, and was a member of North Side Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He loved the outdoors and enjoying fishing and hunting. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ethel Grable.
Survivors: His wife of 44 years, Virginia Grable of Weatherford; son, Kirk Grable and wife, Cheryl, of Willow Park; sister, Dana Sue Alcorn and husband, Charles, of Weatherford; brother, V.W. Grable and wife, Glenda, of Weatherford.
