Mrs. Wm. H. Hines, the esteemed wife of ex-Congressman Hines, died at 5 o'clock Monday morning at her home in this city. She had been ill for three weeks from pneumonia and on Thursday of last week was so much improved that her recovery seemed assured, but the other lung became affected and this with a heart trouble from which she had suffered, was the immediate cause of death. Mrs. Ida May Hines was the daughter of Jacob R. Wortman, of Ithaca, N.Y. She was born in Ithaca and was in her thirty-fifth year. Besides her husband, two sons survive to mourn her loss, Harry, aged 10, and John, aged 4. Mr. Hines has our sincere sympathy in his irreparable loss.
