On October 10, 1987 Donald was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Yvonne (Shepherd) Crockett. They made their home in Columbus, Ohio. From this union they had three beautiful daughters Shavonne (R.Sean) Johnson, Tya (Everette) Logan, and Donnice Milner.
Donald was a faithful member and Deacon at Second Baptist Church. He dedicated his life to helping people in need and was the servant leader of the church pantry ministry.
Donald was devoted to his family and was a great man of God, husband, father, grandfather, godfather, son, brother, uncle and best friend to many. Donald never met a stranger and was always wanting to help others. Donald loved skating, spending time with his grand children, reading the bible and sharing the word with his family and friends.
Donald was one of seven children. He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Crockett, parent, John B. and Magnolia Crockett and his siblings Sammie George Crockett, Willie James Crockett and Johnnie Joe Crockett. Left to cherish his loving memory are his children Shavonne (R.Sean) Johnson, Tya (Everette) Logan, Donnice Milner and his seven grandchildren, God son, his brother John Frank Crockett, and sisters Willa Florence (Crockett) Jones and Patricia (Crockett) Harrell, best friend Calvin Hillman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
