HARVEY L. KLINE, 75, Waynesboro Rt. 2, died at 3:40 am Friday at the Leader Healthcare Center, Chambersburg.


Mr. Kline was born in Guilford Township, son of the late George C. and Fannie E. (Hassler) Kline. Most of his life was lived in the Mont Alto area. He spent all his active life in farming. As a young man, he was employed by Wertz Orchard Co. for a number of years, and prior to his retirement due to ill health, he operated his own farm at Waynesboro Rt. 2, for 39 years.


His wife, Mrs. Myrna E. (Bittinger) Kline, died June 1939.


He is survived by his son, Mervin C. Kline, Fayetteville Rt. 2; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Hutton, Fayetteville; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; these brothers and sisters: James Kline and Wilda Rook, both of Mont Alto; Mrs Archie Monn, Waynesboro, Rt. 1; George Kline, Chambersburg; and Glenn Kline, Gardners, Pa.


Services will be Sunday at 2 pm at Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, in charge of the Rev. Maurice Bender. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mont Alto, Pa.
