He was a faithful servant of the Lord, a quiet, kind, man respected by all who knew him. He was a long-time devoted member of the Laurinburg Christian church. He spent his life's work as a master cabinet and furniture craftsman. The family would like to express a special thank you to Kelvin and Shirley Howell, Cyndy Dial, Jeff Edwards, Don Norton, Johnny Quick, John Brand, Waffle House staff for their kindness showed, and the staff at Scottish Pines, Scotland Memorial Hospital, and Morrison Manor.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 2pm at the Old Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends can gather at the Laurinburg Christian Church Fellowship Hall from 3:00 until 4:30 pm following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Laurinburg Christian Church or Scotland County Hospice.
