The world lost one of the great characters on Wednesday, May 25th when Mike Manning Jr, aka Rex, Foz, or Uncle Mike went to heaven to see Mike Sr. Our brother was one of a kind, we fought and forgave like siblings do, but always loved each other. We stuck together during the most difficult times growing up. Growing up we loved to fish together, build forts, ride dirt bikes, go to Cape Cod, swim and dive at the Burning Bush pool and play neighborhood games with our friends. As an adult Mike loved spending time in Lake George, Saratoga and at Heather's pool with friends and family. Mike loved to ski and golf, he will be dearly missed by the Killington crew, Saratoga Spa Golf crew and the crew at King's. Mike was the uncle that all the nephews and nieces loved to banter with. Bryan, Whitney, Sydney, Jack, Michael, Emma, Sean Jr., Morgan, Julia and Seth will dearly miss him. Mike loved construction since he was a kid following Mike Sr. around on jobs. Mike spent his adult life as an Operator with various local construction companies including Green Island Construction and John Mauro Inc. He will be remembered as one of the hardest and skilled workers you ever had the pleasure of working with. You always knew where you stood with Mike, he would want you all to celebrate his life in your own way, as long as it included a Cavit Pinot Grigio. Mike was taken to early from us, he leaves behind his broken-hearted siblings Greg, Sean, Heather and Christi; brother in laws Todd and Stan; sister in laws, Kathy and April; longtime family friend and roommate Dennis; uncle Reggie and aunts Connie & Ginny and several cousins, as well as his Mom Shirley Manning.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart association. In memory of Mike, our wish is that you visit your local doctor for a physical.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 4:00-7:00pm
