Barbara Ann Cantrell, 76, of Richlands, Virginia passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Born November 27, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Johnny Lee Carty and Virginia "Ellen" Ball. Barbara was a member of the Tabernacle Of Praise Church in Richlands, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rolson Leonard Cantrell; 1 son, Emory "Bug" Cantrell; 1 daughter, Jenny Gross; 2 sisters, Brenda Carty and Ollie Carty; 3 brothers, Roger Carty, Kermit Carty, and Arvil Carty. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Those left to cherish her memory include 1 son, Billy Cantrell and wife Shelia of Richlands, VA; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin, Kathrine Lowe; her cat, "snow ball"
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Norma Mabe officiating. Burial will be at the Ball Cemetery Thursday, June 2, 2022. The family ask those wishing to attend meet at the cemetery at 10:30 A.M. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
