Rev. David B. Clark, 103, of Fort Wayne passed into his Heavenly Home, on May 26, 2022. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil he grew up in Jamaica as a 5th generation Jamaican.
David and his late wife, Helen, graduated from the Fort Wayne Bible Institute, and returned as missionaries in Jamaica for 36 years. Upon returning to Indiana, he was the pastor of West Missionary Church, Berne, retiring in 1985. After retiring full time, he was the minister of hospital visitation, for Fellowship Missionary Church, Fort Wayne, until 2002. He lead volunteer work teams to build Kendal Camp, Jamaica, from 1989-2006. He was most recently a member of Northpoint Community Church, Fort Wayne, and spent his later years teaching Bible studies in his home. David was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lucy (Shalders) Clark; his loving wife of more than 74 years, Helen M (Christensen) Clark, in 2016; daughter, Eileen M. Steiner; grandchildren, Matthew Raker and Emily Haagen; and brother, William Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Northpoint Community Church, 10513 Leo Road, with calling from 11:00 am, until time of service.
