Susie Irma Baker
December 31, 1960 ~ May 26, 2022

On May 26, 2022, the world became less bright as our beloved Susie went home to be with her Lord and her family that went before her. What a reunion they must be having. She passed away peacefully, after a hard fought battle with cancer in her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Susie Irma Baker was born December 31, 1960 in Dallas, Texas, the eighth of nine children born to the late Clarence Milton Baker and Susie Emma Sheffield Baker.

She will be remembered as a somewhat strong willed and free spirited woman, her family was her biggest passion.

In her free time, before her health began to decline, she loved to go fishing, camping out at the lake and hunt arrow heads. She was a wonderful cook and all about "Good Food". Every time I see or hear "Fried Green Tomato's" I'll think of her.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, her siblings, Barbara Green, Patsy Hoff, Catherine Wakefield, Milton Baker, Glenn Baker and Brenda Bugg, an infant grandson, Justin Lee Baker and her fiancé, Johnny Pricer.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Angie, Michelle and Lisa, her two sisters, Mary and Tammy, many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her family will hold a memorial celebration of her life at a later date.
