Tony Oliver, age 56 of Cove Road passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 while being cared for at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
A native of Rutherford County, he is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Dorothy Lane Oliver and one sister Tammy Passmore. Tony worked for a number of years at Reeves Brothers and Trelleborg.
Tony is survived by his wife Lisa Leach Oliver, one son Daniel Leach (Val), one daughter, Kim Oliver (Jerome), one sister, Gail Thompson, four grandchildren, two nephews and a number of other family members.
A family directed memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Saving Grace Church located on Withrow Road in Spindale, NC with Dean Mundy and Blaine Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 P.M.
