Born February 16, 1965, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of Dorothy Irene (Peck) Carr and the late Thomas Eugene Carr. He was also preceded in death by his step-son, Dennis Garlitz, Jr.
Mr. Carr was a self-employed stone mason and a member of the NRA, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and driving 4-wheelers.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Clark) Carr; one son, Daniel (Jessica) Carr; two daughters, Paige (Tony) Wotring and Alexa (Kellin) Leigh; one step-daughter, Amanda Garlitz; two brothers, Greg (Robin) Carr and Scott (Shelly) Carr; one sister, Lisa (John) Ferrell; and 13 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., Accident (McHenry), MD, on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Rush officiating. Cremation will follow services.
