Sharon Kay Thompson, 76, of Union City, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2022, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

She was born on May 19, 1946, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Walter and Delta (Flatter) Wintrow.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Thompson; her sons, Daniel Thompson and Mark Thompson; and her brother, Walter Wintrow.

Sharon worked in the restaurant business for over 50 years, spending most of that time at the Iron Skillet and the Wagon Wheel. She was a member of the New Paris Church of Christ. During her free time, Sharon enjoyed reading, playing games on her phone, and reading and collecting cookbooks.

Sharon is survived by her children, Lisa (Dan) Lockhart of Union City, Ohio, Lee Rice of New Lebanon, Ohio, and Oscar Thompson of Union City; and her 17 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Sharon will be laid to rest in Spring Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
