She was a full time homemaker, and in her later years, worked as a cafeteria worker for Wren Middle School. Lila was a devout Christian. Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior was shown throughout her life in her giving personality, and she was always willing to help a friend or neighbor in need. Lila loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Lila is survived by her three children; her six grandchildren; three siblings; and a sister-in-law. In addition to her loving husband and her parents, Lila was preceded in death by a brother: Peter Fayssoux.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Saluda Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Wayne Clark officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes, and requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association: 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
