Mr. Donald Edward Walker died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 88 at Montclair Park Memory Care Center in Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Donald was born in Tallulah, Louisiana on January 31, 1934. Donald graduated from Tallulah High School in 1952 and went on to graduate from Louisiana Polytechnic Institute, later known as Louisiana Tech University, with a B.A. in Business in 1956. He returned to Tallulah and joined his father's insurance business, Madison Insurance Agency. Additionally, he served as Mayor of Tallulah from 1990-1994. In 2004, he and Bess Ann relocated to Shreveport to be near their children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Walker from Tallulah.
