Harold Hugh "Harry" Bailey, 67, of Route 9, Keeseville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at his home, under the loving care of his family, special friends, and High Peaks Hospice, following a lengthy and courageous battle with Leukemia and Parkinson's.

He was born in Plattsburgh, December 22, 1954, the son of Ronald Vincent Bailey and the former Joan Boswell. He grew up in Keeseville and graduated from AuSable Valley High School in 1973.

He worked construction for several companies early in life and later became a self-employed carpenter. He was well known for buying, selling, and trading various items in his yard.

Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman. He traveled downstate for many years to hunt as well as to Lake Ontario for fishing. Nothing made him happier than fishing with his son, Brenon.

Left to cherish the memory of Harold are, his beloved son, Brenon; his mother, Joan Bailey; sisters, Shelley Frazier of Keeseville, and Cindy (Mike) Cunningham of FL; brother, Mark of Peru; as well as five fantastic nephews and one beautiful niece and their partners; stepmother, Norma Bailey; half-brother, Todd (Tess) Bailey; special friend and caregiver, Sharron Hemingway; and special neighbors, Rick and Cindy Doyle.

Harold was predeceased by his father, Ronald Bailey, January 4, 2022; and half-brother, Robert Bailey, May 23, 1992.

At Harold's request there will be no public calling hours or services.

Donations in Harold's memory may be made to High Peaks Hospice or the Special Olympics.
