Susan D. Johnson, 49, of Scottdale, formerly of Connellsville, died Friday, May 20, 2022, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born June 19, 1972, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Patrick D. Sr. and Shirley Ann Turney Kozel of South Connellsville.
Susan was a graduate of Connellsville High School and she was formerly employed as a CNA/Tech Partner at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Noah Johnson, Dylan Johnson and Riley Johnson, all of Mill Run; a grandson, Matthew Johnson; her siblings, Patrick Kozel Jr. and his wife Ruth of Dunbar, Maryrose McLaughlin and her husband David of Connellsville, Gregory Kozel and his wife Debbie of South Connellsville, Scott Kozel and his wife Deb of Irwin, Michael Kozel and Jay of the state of California, Jeff Kozel and his wife Deborah of Connellsville, John Kozel and Tricia of New Brighton, Pa. and Bobby Kozel of Connellsville.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families and numerous aunts and uncles. Susan was predeceased by two nephews, Matthew and Andrew Mc- Laughlin.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Rev.
