He was born on Nov. 5, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided most of his life.
Michael graduated from Anderson High School and was a very proud Anderson Indian. He served his country in the Army as an SP5 (T) SEE E5.
He retired from ABC Rail.
He loved hunting and fishing.
Michael is survived by his children, Michelle (Gregg) Walker Herron, Melinda (Mike) Walker-Adams, Robert Walker, and James Walker; grandchildren, Kendra Parrish and Rylan Walker; great-granddaughter, Iris (Sissy) Morrison; special friends, Larry and Glenda Danks; and fishing buddy, Bob Yokley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Walker, and parents, James and Betty Walker.
Private services will be held.
