Steve married Toby Hendricks in 2009, and helped her raise her children Chris, Haley and Madison. They later divorced. Her children were very special to Steve.
Steve is survived by his mom, Carol Jones of Austin, MN, his brother, Jason, wife Rosemary and children Alianna and Noah, of Nashville, TN, half -sisters, Wendy and Jann near Fairmont, MN, an uncle, Bob Jones of Rockford, IL, two uncles, Fred and Dave Steinberg, wives Karen and Elaine, many cousins in St. Ansgar, IA, and Austin, MN, and friends in Covington, GA.
Steve was preceded in death by a half- brother. Wade, his father Lellen (Buck) Jones, his grandparents, John and Dorothy Jones, Ed andMaxine Steinberg, aunt, Nicki Jones, cousin's husband, Wade Machin.
Steve had a love of cars so he had many race cars that he worked on and drag raced over the years, and took pride in them all. He also loved his dogs with Hot Rod and Sassy being his last two that he missed after they passed. May you rest in peace, Steve.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Steve in Covington, GA for all his friends in GA on June 5 at 5 O'Clock Bar from 12:30-3:00 Sunday. A private family graveside service will be held in July, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, MN.
