Irma Linda Garcia of Uvalde, Texas, was welcomed by our Lord and Savior while selflessly protecting her angels on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas, at the age of 48. She was born on December 11, 1973, in San Antonio, Texas to Manuel Z. Lozano and Olga Salazar.

Jose Antonio Garcia joined the love of his life and was also welcomed into the arms of his wife, Irma and our Lord on May 26, 2022. They began their relationship in high school and it flourished into a love that was beautiful and kind. Soon after, Irma and Jose were married in Uvalde on June 28, 1997.

Irma and Jose are survived by their daughters, Lyliana Analise Garcia and Alysandra Celeste Garcia; sons, Cristian Antonio and Jose Alejandro Garcia all of Uvalde; she is survived by her father, Manuel Z. Lozano of San Antonio; sisters, Velma Lisa Duran of San Antonio and Marissa Lozano of Uvalde; brother, Marcus Lozano of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother. Joe is survived by his sister, Maria G. Esparza of Uvalde, Texas; and brothers, Armando P. Garcia of Universal City, Texas.

Pallbearers for Irma's services will be: Gabriel Salazar, Christopher Cordova, Marcus Lozano, Albert Tijerina, Ricardo Nevarez, Esteban Duran, Jesus (Jay) Garcia, Cristian Garcia, and Alejandro Garcia.

Pallbearers for Jose's services will be: Jesse Carranco, Carlos Martinez, Joe Huerta, Paul Trevino, Isidro Escamilla, Tres Duran, Pete Sevilla, Cristian Garica and Alejandro Garcia.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Rushing Estes Knowles at 3:00PM followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
