Richard E. Davis, 83 of Sabina, passed surrounded by his family on Sunday evening, May 22, 2022 at his home. Born April 27, 1939 in Wilmington, the son of Virgil E. and Doris Earley Davis. He is survived by his wife Sharon Hartley Davis whom he married June 9, 1961. Richard was a 1957 graduate of Simon Kenton High School, served in the US Air Force for 6 years after school, went on to co-own a trucking company with his Father and helped with his family with The Davis Greenhouse. He went on to retire after 26 years with Melvin Stone. Also, a member of Richland United Methodist Church and the Sabina Area Men's Group. He was a HUGE Ford guy, loved his classics, building his new garage just to house his precious Thunderbirds. Survived by his daughters; Kim (Larry) Chance of Sabina, Amy (Tim) Houseman of Clarksville and preceded by daughter Juli Mallow who passed April 22, 2011. Grandchildren; Chelsie (Tim) Mallow, Nikk (Kaley) Mallow, Wesley Wright, Katlin Chance (Josh) Fox, Austin Chance, Andrew Houseman and Allie (Seth) Houseman. Richard's visitation will be on Thursday May 26, 2022 at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County or the Richland United Methodist Church.
