Survivors include her husband, Don, of the home, one son, Cody, of the home; her father Kenneth Chrislip of Mcpherson, her mother Barbara of Columbus Nebraska, two half brothers, Michael Woodhead of Lincoln and Kevin Chrislip of Mcpherson; two half sisters Sharon Donnell of Waco, Sharee Chrislip of Mcpherson two grandmothers Joann Branstetter and Peggy Roberts of ElDorado, two grandfathers, Clayton Chrislip of Mcpherson and Clifford Roberts of Augusta.
Services were Sept 14, 1993 at the Gass-Haney Chapel Columbus Nebraska with Rev Tim White officiating. Burial was in the Roselawn Cemetery, Columbus.

April Lynn (Opal) Chrislip was born September 10, 1993 to Barbara Jo Branstetter and Kenneth William Chrislip, in El Dorado, Kansas. She was later adopted by Barbara's husband James Kaspar. April knew James as her father and loved him very much.
April's half-siblings are Sharon Chrislip, Karentha Chrislip, Sharee Chrislip and Kevin Chrislip Riggs.
She had a son, Cody Allen, who was adopted by his Grandmother Barbara and Grandfather James Kaspar after April's death.
