June 7, 1961 - May 21, 2022
Tracey Giles King was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, niece and friend. She left this world on May 21, 2022, at age 60.
Tracey was born June 7, 1961, to Paskel and Barbara Giles in Nashville, TN where she lived most of her life until moving to Eagleville, TN in 2010 in order to fulfill a lifelong dream of having horses in her own yard. She was a member at Tusculum Church of Christ and had a deep spiritual relationship with God.
Tracey had a tremendous love for animals. As an adult, she bravely attended Columbia State Community College, where she earned her Associate's degree in 2007 as a Veterinary Technician; this was her proudest accomplishment. Tracey enjoyed fishing, sewing, traveling, and being with her animals. Even though she never learned to swim, she enjoyed taking cruises. Her favorite night on the ship was lobster night, where she achieved her record of seven lobster tails in one sitting. She would tell the wait staff to hold the sides and keep the lobster coming.
Tracey was a kind, generous, selfless woman that always put others before herself. She lived a simple life of patience and love toward others. She set the perfect example of how we should live and treat one another. We are so proud of her strength and courage. The memory of her life will remain in our hearts forever.
Tracey is preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnnie D. And Vina Sisco Ryan (maternal) and Hugh H. And Beulah Ezell Giles (paternal).
Tracey is survived by her husband, retired District Chief with Metro Nashville Fire Department, Paul King; daughters, Jennifer (Brandon) Ross and Jessica (Brian McCown) Neal; stepdaughters, Mandy (Chris) Linthicum and Jennifer (Alan) Morrison; stepson, Andrew King; parents, Paskel and Barbara Giles; aunts, Carole Thomas, Sue Ing, and Marie Grimes; and grandchildren, Evan and Ty McCown, Jordan King and Hunter Morrison.
