James Edward Griffin, 79, of Freeport, Ohio died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his residence.
He was born February 24, 1943, in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late James and Marye (Nolte) Griffin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Griffin, brothers Eugene "Sonny" Russell, Stanley Moore, and stepson, Mark St. John.
Surviving are daughters, Tammy (Donny Ross) Lucas, Terri (John) Winesburg, and Tonya Ruble, stepchildren, Deanna St. John, Wayne St. John, Jay Skoda, grandchildren, Blake Lucas, Floyd "Chad" (Addie) Atkinson, Taylor Atkinson, Logan Neitzelt, Brooklynn Ruble, and Maddox Ruble, along with several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, his beloved German Shepherd Zoey and precious cats.
Family and friends will be recieved at the CARE Funeral Home, 204 West Main Street, Saint Clairsville Ohio on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 1pm until funeral services at 1:30pm. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville West Virginia.
