Karen Sue Martin, 67, of Union City, PA, died on May 20, 2022 at her residence. Karen was born March 27, 1955, in Corry, PA, to the late Paul and Doris Nichols Blakeslee. She was a devoted grandmother and a very caring person who touched so many lives. She worked for 25 years as an Operator/Floor Person at Erie Plastics Inc. in Corry, until she retired. Karen enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Union City. Karen is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Martin, whom she married on January 8, 1972 at the Spring Creek Congregational Church, Spring Creek, PA; three daughters; Bobbi (Scott ) Miller, Kelli (Matthew) Gehl, Ronni (Michael) Kocher; a son, Christopher (Shauna) Martin; three sisters, Pauline Bachko, Debbie (Robert) Mitcham, Tammy (Frank) Joy; two brothers, Terry (Lois) Blakeslee, Roger (Tonya) Blakeslee; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the First Baptist Church, 16 South Street, Union City, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 4:30 until the time of the funeral service there at 6:00 pm. Pastor Rob Weaver will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc. 315 N. Center St., Corry.
