Carol "Nanny" Jean Dixon Young, 69, passed away in Wichita Falls on Sunday, May 22, 2022. A graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Carol was born on July 21, 1952 in Graham to Samuel Dixon and Betty Jean Walker.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Angie Allen of Iowa Park, Brandy Riggins and partner Brandan Jordan of Pennsylvania, and Holly Hunt of Graham; siblings, Lonnie Dixon and wife Renona, Ricky Dixon and wife Sarah, Rebecka Thorton, Tammie Harriss, David Walker and wife Elaine, Joel Hill and wife Dawn, Tina Rogers and husband Dewayne, Sammie Perez and husband Ruben, and Scottie Dixon; grandchildren, Christopher Riggins, Hunter McBride, Dylan Riggins, and Preslee McBride; father of her children, Danny Hunt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Carol Dixon and Betty Jean and Doug Patterson, along with a granddaughter, Michaela McBride.
Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
