John Pack Thompson, age 83, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. John was born June 19, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to A.J. "Whitey" Thompson and Noel Pack Thompson.
John enjoyed being involved in his local church and Sunday school at Calvary Baptist Church.
In his later years, John enjoyed playing dominoes and listening to Norwegian folk music.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his wife, Sherrilyn Thompson; daughters, Debra Ireland and DeeDee Carpenter; stepsons, Bobby Rice, Bill Rice and Burt Rice; stepdaughter, Tamara Bowen; grandson, Shaun Ireland; and granddaughter, Noel Claire Carpenter.
