Covington, TN - Annie L. Barber, 85, died Saturday November 24, 2007 at her residence in Covington, TN. She was born July 7, 1922 to the late Columbus Shinault and Martha Dees Shinault. She was a member of Central Christian Church and a homemaker.
Services were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Turner's Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Dewey W. Barber and wife, Peggy of Covington, TN, Glenn Coltharp of Iuka, and Mike Barber and wife, Dawn of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Ollie Coltharp of Ripley, Dollie Coltharp and husband, Richard of Memphis, TN, and Ruby Jamison of Ripley; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Martha Dees Shinault; her husband, James L. Barber.
Pallbearers will be: Todd Barber, Trey Barber, Roger Jamison, Steve Jamison, James K. Knipple and Madison Coltharp.
