Mary Lois White, 68, of Amarillo died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum with Jerry Hopkins, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Mrs. White was born Sept. 1, 1937, in Amarillo. She married Phillip Dean White on Sept. 14, 1974, in the gazebo at Las Tiendas where their import business was located. They were married 31 years.
She was part owner of Galaxie Imports and worked for SPS as a data operator until her retirement. She did volunteer work at Bethesda Cancer Center and at Northwest Texas Hospital.
She was not only a loving wife and business partner, but Phillip's best friend. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved her garden and her trees, as well as her home. She was a very caring person.
She and her husband were members of Trinity Fellowship for more than 21 years and had most recently attended Paramount Terrace Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Ruby Lee Maxwell, and a brother, Arlie Wayne Maxwell.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Janet Capansky of Fritch; a sister, LaNita Barton and husband, Wesley, of Amarillo; and two brothers, Sonny Maxwell and wife, Jerene, of Amarillo, and Bob Maxwell and wife, Bobbi, of Pottsboro.
The family suggests memorials be to "Olivia's Angels," in care of BSA Hospice, 200 N.W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, TX 79107.
The body will not be available for viewing.
