BUFFALO, Iowa - Debra Kay 'Polly' Walker, 64, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Per Debra's wishes, cremation is being handled by the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Kings Harvest Pet Rescue, in her honor. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Debra was born on June 11, 1957, in Muscatine, to Keith and Marjorie Friedrick Walker.

She attended Muscatine schools until her Junior year, she then moved to Sikeston, Missouri and graduated at Sikeston High in 1975. Debra moved back to Iowa where she met and married Robert 'Pete' Stewart in 1979. Together they had a daughter Jessie. They later divorced. Debra worked at Brammer Mfg, Stage West, Miller Time Billiards, and her last job was at Oscar Meyer.

She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Makenzie and a very special great nephew, Theo Walker.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Jessie Jane Stewart; granddaughter, Makenzie Jo; brothers, Mike Walker and wife, Melody, Pat 'Chuck' Walker, and wife, Lorrie; cousins, nieces, nephews, and all their offspring; aunt and uncle, Jackie and Jim Crowder; Mrs. Shirley Hagermann, Betty Jo Walker; and special friend, Jack Wessels of Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Marjorie Walker; stepfather Frank Bromwell; brother, Keith Walker; grandparents, Jake and Iona Walker, Russel Love, Ted and Margaret Friedrick; and all the Dobermans in her life, may they all rest in peace.
