Robert Michael Hodges, 78, of Midland, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at MediLodge of Midland. He was born September 13, 1943, in Lansing, son of the late Yates Seamore and Mary Bea (Teague) Hodges. Robert graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon his discharge from the military, he went to Lansing Community College and earned his degree. He sought employment with the Dow Corning Corporation where he worked until his retirement in 2000, retiring as a Safety/Environmental Senior Specialist.
Robert was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who enjoyed his cottage on Snyder Lake. He loved all animals, especially his cat Victor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Kelly Hodges and Paul Hodges, and by his sister Patricia Stackhouse.
