Puppeteer. She began her career as a dancer in the Viena Opera Ballet of the Viena Opera. She moved to Spain in the late 40s as a member of the company "Los Vieneses," along with Franz Johan, Gustavo Re and her husband Artur Kaps. She triumphed with her puppets show on television, in programs such as "Lo que Cuenta la Tía Cristina," "Día de Fiesta" and "En el País de la Fantasía." Frankel was a pioneer of the children programs of Spanish television and a master of the puppets. She obtained the Ondas award in 1969. Her most popular puppets were the dog Marilin, Pepito, the aunt Cristina and the mouse Rosita.
