She married James C. Badger in 1961. Raising three children and holding a variety of jobs, finally finding a life long passion in nursing. After earning her degree she chose geriatrics as her specialty. She loved her patients caring deeply for them all.
She has five grandchildren (her second passion) and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her children Tracy Benson and husband Mark, James L. Badger and wife Meg, and Shawna Black; brothers Roger Howard and wife Christine, Michael Howard; sister Susan Meredith and husband Dave; grandchildren Dalyn, Nichole, Sarah, Tarin and Jacey and one great grandchild, Braidyn. And of course she also left behind four beloved dogs, Woopsy, Ugs, Poppy and Jazzy.
