Edward W. Marshall, age 72, of Pershing, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Edward's memory will live on in those he leaves behind, including his children; Cami (Rodney) Sedlock of Knoxville, Wendy (Eric) Sheriff of Des Moines, and Joseph Provenzano of Knoxville; his three siblings, Rick (Deb) Swope, Craig (Jodi) Marshall, and Ann (Bob) Rice; mother-in-law, Ramona Barnard; grandchildren, Kayla (Summer) Johnson, Jessi Marlin, Tessa (Kyle) Slattery, Brett Sedlock, Eric Sheriff Jr., Audriana Sheriff, Jasmine Sheriff, William Huff, Jenna Sheriff, Gianna Funk, and Brisbane Provenzano; his four great grandchildren; his girlfriend Jill Hale, and several other extended family members.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Robin Marshall; parents, LaRoy and Patricia Vander Veer, and his sister, Carlene Roland.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, Iowa. There will be a luncheon held after the memorial service at the Pershing Community Center at 2:30 p.m. A private family burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
