Ryan Lee Pearson was born January 19, 1983 in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Danny and Carol (Kingery) Pearson.

Ryan was raised on the family farm south of Knoxville, graduating with the Class of 2001. After high school he attended DMACC in Ankeny. He worked for Pizza Hut for many years, and for the last two years he worked at Casey's north in Knoxville. Ryan was a dedicated employee and rarely missed a day of work. Ryan was an avid fan of NFL Football, he could quote player statistics chapter and verse. He also enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with family. His family could count on him to bring their favorite chocolate chip and sugar cookies to family gatherings. If you would happen to see Ryan he would greet you with, "Are you staying out of trouble?" and then a grin and laugh would follow.

Ryan passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his home at the age of 39 years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Tillie Kingery; Uncle, Kenneth Lambert.

Those left to cherish Ryan's memory include his loving parents, Danny and Carol Pearson of Knoxville; brother, Eric (Daphne) Pearson of Knoxville; his beloved niece, Ali and nephew, Eli; paternal grandparents, Elmer "Jipe" and Evelyn Pearson of Knoxville; Aunt, Lori Pearson of Knoxville; Aunt, Robin (Gil Hernandez) Pearson of Phoenix, Arizona; Uncle, Gary (Carol) Kingery; Aunt, Linda Lambert; Aunt, Mary Ann (Alivin) Olivier; Uncle, Steve (Judy) Kingery; Aunt, Judy (Mike) Pitt, all of Knoxville; Aunt, Renee (Rob) Wallace of Hamilton, and many other family members and friends.
