Mr. William Clyde "Bill" Brewer was born in Livingston, LA. He was raised in Columbia, Ms. He was born to the Parents of Houston Brewer and Florence Lollar. He was a retired welder from The companies of Halter Marine and Ingalls shipyard for a total of 30 years working for both companies.
He graduated from Columbia High School in Columbia, Ms in 1971. He was also a graduate of Pearl River Community College with an associates degree in welding in 1972.
He grew up as a member of Improve Baptist Church and also in his later years was a member of Gautier Church of God for several years. He loved to fish, work on vehicles, repairing lawnmowers, and rebuilding equipment like bicycles and other odd repair jobs. As a child and teenager he also loved to play softball as a catcher for the church softball teams. As a paw paw he loved spending time with his grandchildren making them smile and laugh. His greatest joy in life was being a hard worker and taking care of his family.
He is preceded in death by his father Houston Brewer, His mother Florence Lollar, One sister Sue Plunk, and three brothers James Brewer, Robert Stackpole, and Billy Stackpole.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Doris Faye Brewer, two children Aaron Scott Brewer, and William Daryl Brewer, two sisters Faye Lea and Johnnie Brewer, one brother Charles Stackpole and three grandchildren Adora Brewer, Emily Promise Brewer, and Elizabeth Joy Brewer.
Services will be held at Gautier Church of God in Gautier, Ms from 9 to 11 am for the wake and from 11 to 12 for the funeral at this address 5209 Gautier Vancleave Rd. Gautier, Ms 39553. Followed by a graveside burial at Landmark Cemetery in Carson, MS.
Pallbearers will be as followed Daniel Frazier, Joseph Mcfarland, Allen Lea II, Dusty Lambert, Dominic Bass, Joseph Johnson, DK Brewer, and Johnny Johnson.
