Mrs. Bessie Carper Stowers. 59, of Griffithsville, died yesterday in a Huntington hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Holley and Mrs. Helen Lawrence of Griffithsville; five sons, Edward of Industry, Pa., Paul and Conard of Clinton, Iowa, Arbie and Dana at home; four brothers, Golden HarperSesco and Sheridan of Lancaster, Ohio and Howard of Bernie; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Lucas of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Ella Lawrence of Branchland, and Mrs. Frona Connard of Lancaster and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Koontz Funeral Home here by Rev. Emory Linville. Burial will be in the Stowers Cemetery near Griffithsville.
The body is at the funeral home.
