Mark Steven Loomis age 70 of Spring Green died on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born on February 12, 1952, the 4th child of Roy "Bud" Loomis and Margaret (Schuetz) Loomis.
Mark lived most of his life in Spring Green, where he leaves behind many friends. He was married to Judy Hopkins on November 7, 1987 until her death on April 18, 2005. He then married Laura (Schulenberg) Walkowski on September 12, 2009 and she passed on July 16, 2021.
Mark leaves behind his brothers, Tim (Rita), Charlie (Kathy), sisters, Linda (Don) Taylor, Pat (Jim Creeron) Loomis, Margaret Elmore, Becky (Bob) Stolinas, Jane (Bob) Loomis-Banta, a sister-in-law, Joyce Loomis as well as many family and friends.
In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margaret Loomis, a brother, Bob and a sister, June Loomis, 2 nephews, Bradley and Wade Loomis.
A celebration of life service will he be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green with burial in the Spring Green Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Spring Green American Legion Post #253. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
